Sept. 1-2: Adams Fire Department Labor Day Weekend

The Adams Fire Department will be hosting its 115th Labor Day weekend celebration on Sunday, September 1 and Monday, September 2.

There will be a number of events on both days. A chicken barbecue will be at noon on both days along with food, fried dough and other refreshments. A bounce house, games and raffles will also be on both days.

On Sunday, the park at 6 North Main Street will open at noon with a cornhole tournament starting at the same time. The park will close at 10 p.m. Saturday.

Monday’s festivities start with a Labor Day parade at 11 a.m. to coincide with the park’s opening. Raffles will be drawn at 4 p.m. and the park will close after those drawings.

• D.J. Travis: Noon to 4 p.m. (Sunday)
• 10th Mountain Division Rock Band Avalanche: 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (Sunday)
• Side Tracked: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. (Sunday)
• Gridlocked: 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Monday)
