Leveling Up: GameStop turning some locations into retro game stores

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) – A number of GameStop locations in Upstate New York are going back in time.

The company is going back to the future by introducing GameStop Retro. This announcement was made on X, formerly Twitter, last week.

These locations will offer older consoles, games, compact discs and other video game accessories and systems.

The Watertown location at 21860 Towne Center Drive will be one of the locations that will be undergoing. Locations at Destiny USA and Marshall’s Plaza in Syracuse as well as the Consumer Square in New Hartford will also become a Retro location.
