    Former lunch manager for F-M schools arrested for stealing $45K for his own business

    MANLIUS, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Adam Jarosz, the former lunch manager for Fayetteville-Manlius schools, was arrested by Manlius police for stealing roughly $45,000 in district funds to use for his own business on Wednesday, September 4.

    Jarosz, 43, allegedly stole these funds to purchase food and equipment for Cafe Jarosz, a restaurant and catering business that he owns located at 604 East Seneca Street in Manlius.

    Before his arrest, Jarosz resigned from his position as school lunch manager, said Manlius police.

    He is charged with:

    • Grand larceny in the third degree, a Class D felony
    • Criminal possession of stolen property, a Class D felony
    • Falsifying business records, a Class A misdemeanor
