Next steps in charges against former governor’s aide

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Linda Sun, a former aide to two New York governors, has been accused of being a covert agent for the Republic of China. The indictment against her says she worked for the state from 2012 to 2023, originally under former Governor Andrew Cuomo, and most recently for Governor Kathy Hochul.

This week on Empire State Weekly, Anna Cominsky, a professor of law and the Director of the Criminal Defense Clinic at New York Law School explained the next steps in the state’s legal process against Linda Sun.
