    Croghan man charged with alleged rape of minor

    LOWVILLE, N.Y. (WWTI) – A 47-year-old Croghan man is accused of allegedly having sex with a minor less than 15 years old.

    Lewis County Sheriff’s Deputies charged Matthew Lyndaker with second-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child.

    The charges stem from Lyndaker allegedly sex with a child less than 15 years old in mid-June 2022.

    He was arraigned in the Lewis County CAP Court and jailed on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
