JCC’s Athlete of the Week ending Sept. 8

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) – Jefferson Community College’s Athlete of the Week for the Week Ending September 8, 2024, is Sophomore middle blocker, Abigail E. Raven, of the JCC volleyball team.

Raven, a 2023 graduate of Ogdensburg Free Academy, is majoring in Natural Sciences at JCC.

Raven had a dominating middle blocker performance at the Fulton Montgomery Community College POD with two matches. She led the Cannoneers to Victory over Erie CC (3-0) and SUNY Niagara (3-0) to open up the season with a 2-0 start. She led the team with 22 kills, 3 Blocks, 7 digs, and 3 service aces.

The Cannoneers’ next game will be women’s Soccer on Wednesday, September 18 at 5 p.m. at Herkimer College.
