Syracuse Mets wrap up the season with Irish & Italian Nights plus jersey giveaways

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The Syracuse Mets are wrapping up the 2024 season with a bang. The homestand features Irish Night, Italian Night, jersey giveaways and fireworks.

NewsChannel 9 got a sneak peek of the jersey giveaways. On Thursday, it’s Irish Heritage Night, which means the first 1,500 fans will get a free Irish Mets jersey. It’s also Dollar Thursday, which means fans can enjoy $1 fountain drinks, $2 Hofmann hot dogs and coneys and $3 select cans and drafts of beer and hard ciders.

And on Saturday, the Syracuse Mets are celebrating Italian Heritage Night at NBT Bank Stadium. The first 1,500 fans through the gates will get an Italian Mets jersey. After the game, fans can enjoy the last postgame fireworks extravaganza of the season.

Both games start at 6:35 p.m. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
