    Jefferson County man facing drug possession charges after traffic stop

    THERESA, N.Y. (WWTI) – A 36-year-old Alexandria man is facing multiple charges after a Thursday traffic stop.

    Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies charged Daniel Papin with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle along with numerous vehicle and traffic violations.

    The charges stem from when Papin was pulled over Thursday on Route 37 in the town of Theresa.

    According to sheriff’s deputies, a traffic stop allegedly found 29 grams of crack cocaine and methamphetamine.
