Traffic alert: Watertown’s Superior Street having overnight work

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) – City of Watertown officials will be working into the night doing water work on Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

In a press release from the city’s Water Department, crews will be in the process of performing main and hydrant installation Wednesday night and Thursday. Superior Street will be closed from Kelsey Creek Apartments to New York Ave.

Work is expected to be finished by 4 p.m. Thursday and updates will be provided if there are any changes.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes on this date.

If traveling through, drivers should exercise caution when encountering work crews and
work zones.
