Watertown garbage and yard waste pick up delayed due to equipment issues

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) – City of Watertown residents are having to hold onto their trash and yard waste just a bit longer.

The City’s Department of Public works said that equipment issues are delaying garbage and yard waste pickup for residents.

City officials ask the public to continue to leave garbage out for pick up. DPW crews will be working as fast as possible in order to catch up on trash pick up.

Officials said to continue to leave yard waste and other green waste out as normal. This means putting it between the sidewalk and the curb.
