10th Mountain Division featured in Army hype video for Temple game

FORT DRUM, N.Y. (WWTI) – Fort Drum’s 10th Mountain Division was featured on the Army West Point Facebook page prior to the academy’s football team’s matchup against Temple of Thursday night.

The 47-second Facebook video touted the features of the division, which included its origin and some of their current duties. The army mentions Fort Drum soldiers support combat operations, peacekeeping missions, disaster response and humitarian relief efforts.

10th Mountain Division Commander Major General Scott Naumann and Command Sgt. Major Brett Johnson along with a number of soldiers appear at the end of the video to hype up the Black Knights football team.

Army routed Temple, 42-14, on Thursday night as the Black Knights are now 4-0 overall and 3-0 in Conference USA play. The Owls dropped to 1-4 overall and 0-2 in the conference.

Army is next action against Tulsa at noon on Saturday, October 5.
