Depeyster man charged in domestic dispute investigation

DEPEYSTER, N.Y. (WWTI) – A Depeyster man was charged on Sep. 24 following an investigation into a domestic dispute that took place in the Town of Depeyster.

Richard J. Deal, 42, was charged by St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies with Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd (A Misdemeanor) and Aggravated Family Offence (E Felony).

Sheriff’s Deputies said Deal was arraigned in Canton Town Court on an arrest warrant that was filed for his arrest. He was released to the supervision of probation and an order of protection was issued in favor of the victim.
