Romanian man accused of grand larceny of over $50,000 & use of skimmer device

MASSENA, N.Y. (WWTI) – A 28-year-old man from Romania is accused of grand larceny in the village of Massena.

Massena Village Police charged Laurentiu Dragusin with grand larceny, identity theft, unlawful possession of a skimmer device and other charges.

Authorities in Massena were assisted by the St. Lawrence County District Attorney’s Office, St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, the Potsdam Police Department, the Canton Police Department, the Department of Homeland Security Investigations along with U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

No other details were provided by Massena Police at this time.
