    Dodgers take 2-1 lead in NLCS over Mets after 8-0 win in Game 3

    The Dodgers took a 2-1 lead in the National League Championship Series with a lopsided win Wednesday over the New York Mets in Game 3.

    The 8-0 win at Citi Field featured home runs from Enrique Hernández, Shohei Ohtani and Max Muncy and solid pitching from starter Walker Buehler and four relievers.

    Los Angeles now stands just two wins away from returning to the World Series for the fourth time in less than a decade under manager Dave Roberts.

    Game 4 is Thursday night at Citi Field.

    In the American League Championship Series, the New York Yankees now hold a 2-0 lead over the Cleveland Guardians. They play Game 3 Thursday afternoon.
