Two teens missing since they left a Friday night homecoming dance at San Lorenzo High School have been found safe and are being reunited with their families, according to the San Lorenzo Unified School District.

School officials say Michelle Olivas and Elvis Merino went to the dance together on Friday, Oct. 18.

Olivas is a student at San Lorenzo high and Merino traveled to the Bay Area from Mendocino County to attend the event.

They were supposed to meet their parents afterward, but neither teen showed up.

Both were considered at-risk since they're only 15 years old.

The district said in a statement: "We are tremendously grateful for this outcome and happy for the families involved and for our entire school district community. We do not have any additional information to share at this time."
