A 26-year-old woman was shot and killed by her twin brother in Teaneck on Thursday morning, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

Jonathan Hagley is charged with murder, possession of a weapon, and obstruction of justice, according to the Prosecutor's Office.

It happened on Hickory Street around 8:25 a.m, according to Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

Lindsay Tuchman reports that one person is in custody after a 26-year-old woman was killed at a home on Hickory Street in Teaneck on Thursday morning.

Police say Naomi Hagley was found with multiple gunshot wounds in a private residence and was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

First responders determined the suspect, who is her twin brother, fled the scene.

Hagley was found several blocks from the scene of the shooting by officers from the Bogota Police Department.

A handgun with a defaced serial number was found near the crime scene, officials said.

Video of Hagley fleeing was captured from Luz Javier's surveillance camera.

"Ten minutes before I stepped out from the house to take her to school, so when I came back and saw everything I was like what is going on," Javier said.

Bergen County officials say there is no ongoing danger to the community.

"Nothing happens around here so I never thought we'd witness something like that. I feel sorry for the family," Javier said.
