Police reported that a 34-year-old male was swept out by the tide while swimming near Breezy Point, Queens.

The man claimed to have been drifting for several hours before the fisherman discovered him.

At nine in the morning, police answered a call from a commercial fisherman reporting a swimmer in trouble two miles off Sandy Hook's shoreline.

    Returning To Monmouth Cove Marina

Returning to Monmouth Cove Marina in Port Monmouth, the fisherman and his son carried the man onto their boat.

When police met the swimmer at the marina under observation by medical staff, they discovered he was in good shape.

Before organizing travel from the region, police gave the swimmer—who identified himself as Pete Ordane of New York City—dry clothing and food.

They live in Port Monmouth and don't want to be known, but the Middletown Police said the fisherman and his kid saved Ordane's life.

The Swimmer Was Sent To The Ordane By Automobile

About fifty miles by automobile from where he reported entering the sea, the fisherman brought Ordane back to the Monmouth Cove Marina in Port Monmouth. Ordane claimed he entered most likely close to Breezy Point and was pushed out from the tide. Before the fisherman located him, he claimed he was treading water for hours.

At the scene, ordane was assessed and confirmed to be in good shape. Before deciding on transportation, he picked some dry clothes and food.

Middletown police reported that the fisherman and his son successfully rescued Ordane, so saving his life. They dwell in Port Monmouth.
