On August 14, 2024, the 2024 NYC Jobs & Career Fair will be at the famous event at City College. Over 50 job exhibitors from the business, nonprofit, and government sectors will attend the free event.

The job fair will have chances for New Yorkers with a wide range of skills and interests, whether they are fresh out of college, have been working for a while, or are just looking for a change. People looking for work can talk to employers, learn about different career paths, get career tools, and get the latest news on new job markets, such as the booming green job economy.

City, State, And Federal Booths

There will be booths from city, state, and federal government organizations, such as the NYPD, FDNY, NYC Parks, the FBI, and the U.S. Secret Service.

There will also be people from the private industry there, such as Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Northwell Health, Mount Sinai Health System, Con Edison, and many more.

We want as many people as possible to come here and help people who are looking for work. The show's Lead producer, Baron Carr, told The amNew York Metro, That's really what we want to do. I would be happy if they could leave the hall with a job or an interview.

Mr. Lloyd Williams, head of the Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce, said the fair grows every year. Williams said even more people came last year—2,500 people, making the event even busier.
