In New York City, the "Great Elephant Migration" is one of the biggest outdoor installations ever.

Since the elephants are dispersed over the Meatpacking District, it is simple to identify them from one another thanks to their distinctive ear shapes.

    Perfectly Similar

Each one is distinct, a perfect duplicate of an actual elephant that is currently living in freedom on plantations in several areas of Southern India.

I believe you can tell which ones are a little more timid and which ones are more daring. Ruth Ganesh, co-founder of The Coexistence Collective, stated.

It also has a message attached to it.

    The Message To Convey

The Coexistence Collective and the global nonprofit Elephant Family USA have partnered. Over the years, a group of 200 artisans in India created sculptures that represented the peaceful coexistence of humans and animals in the same area.

The elephants are made from lantana, an invasive weed that is displacing wildlife and spreading across woodlands.

The herd left Newport, Rhode Island, and is now going across the country. Even though October 20 is their last day in New York City, their stay does not have to end.

Elephants can be purchased anywhere between $8,000 to $22,000. The money will be used to support programs based on the belief that nature improves people.
