According to authorities, a 16-year-old pupil brought a loaded pistol to a high school in Manhattan on Friday morning.

A school safety agent was notified by students at the Percy E. Sutton Educational Campus about a student who was carrying a handgun. In his rucksack, a male student carried a fully loaded Ruger.380 handgun, according to officials.

The Officers From The 32nd Precinct

to 10:30 a.m., officers from the 32nd precinct arrived at the school. According to authorities, the male student was taken into custody and charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

The incident did not result in any reported harm or injuries. No other information was provided.
