According to a spokeswoman for US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, four are in the country unlawfully, and two are on parole after arriving. Texas and Arizona were the men's entry points.

The U.S. State Department states that parole permits those who might not otherwise be permitted entry or temporary residence in the country. Those who might apply for asylum are among them.

    ATM Jackpotting

ording to the U.S. Attorney's Office, ATM jackpotting is the practice of criminals using a device to infect ATMs with malware in order to cause the machines to distribute all of the cash they contain in a relatively short amount of time, similar to winning the big jackpot on a casino slot machine.

The U.S. Attorney's Office states that the earliest reports of this kind of crime in the country date back to January 2018.
