In 2014, the National Corvette Museum experienced the kind of crisis that haunts the nightmares of many a curator. The short version? A sinkhole opened up below the museum, and eight of the Corvettes stored there tumbled down 40 feet. You know that mixture of dread and anticipation you can experience while seeing a rare sports car destroyed in a comedy or action movie? Security camera footage from this collapse offered that same ominous sensation but with the bonus of knowing that what you were seeing did not involve replica vehicles designed for the impact.
2 charged following shots fired incident in Rockfield
WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – A Louisville man and Bowling Green man are facing charges related to a shots fired incident in Rockfield. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office says it responded to a shots fired call early Monday morning. Deputies say the complainant stated that the suspects fled the scene in a motor vehicle toward Russellville Road.

37MADISONVILLE 0705 The Madisonville police have two suspects in the theft of copper. Eric Harris and Christopher Blair were arrested by officers on patrol at 2:30 last Sunday morning. Harris and Blair were found at 19-09 South Main on the lawn of Exotic Florist. They were carrying bundles of copper pipe and a large red backpack. The police say when they were spotted, they took off running. Burglary tools were located. The investigation found that the stolen items had come from the Old Praire Farms Milk Company on McLeod Lane. Harris and Blair are now at the county jail.
