Car tow fees resume in Baltimore
Starting Monday, people will have to pay more if their car is towed in Baltimore City. The city waived the fees during the pandemic. People will now be charged the $50 initial storage fee, the $40 administration fee, the $15 daily storage fee and higher fees for vehicles with more than six wheels.

Daily storm chances for work week
BALTIMORE -- A stalled front will bring us multiple rounds of showers and storms for the majority of the work week. Your Monday morning is starting cloudy and muggy with out the door temperatures in the 70s. The first half of our day will be gray and dry with showers edging towards Baltimore anytime after lunch. Expect off and on showers and storms this afternoon and evening as temperatures top out in the low to mid 80s. Wet and stormy weather remain a good possibility through Thursday, including heavy downpours. We have almost widespread drought conditions across Maryland so most of the rain will be beneficial. There is the chance that poor drainage areas could see some flooding though. A few stray storms are possible on Friday, before what looks like a bright and dry weekend.
Hellenic Cables to build new factory in Baltimore
BALTIMORE, MD—Hellenic Cables Americas has agreed to build a new factory on 38 acres of land in Wagner’s Point in Baltimore. The company is one of the largest cable producers in Europe. The factory is expected to create 120 jobs when it’s up and running.

The weekend ended with another day back into the 90s, thanks to sunshine. This morning the clouds have returned as an unsettled weather pattern will stall across our region for much of this week. With this, we can expect daily showers and thunderstorms. This does NOT mean we will have washouts each day, but more likely in the afternoons and evenings.
Warm and humid for Monday with scattered showers and possible storms
Meteorologist Ava Marie says it will be cooler to start the week with temps in the low 80's and chances for thunderstorms through the day. It will be an Impact Weather day as some of these storms could be heavy at times. Temps will warm back up to the upper 80's for the rest of the week with mostly cloudy skies and chances for showers and storms through Thursday. It will clear up by Friday for a nicer and drier weekend with mostly sunny skies.

14-year-old dies in double shooting at Mondawmin Metro Station
BALTIMORE - A double shooting at the Mondawmin Metro Station in West Baltimore left a teen dead, and another person injured according to police.Two people were found at the metro station at the 2300 block of Liberty Heights Avenue with gunshot wounds. Both individuals were hospitalized. Police said Jasper Davis, 14, was pronounced dead at the hospital. According to the Maryland Transit Administration, bus service was temporarily canceled because of the police investigation. Service has since resumed for operation.
