The Jayhawks will play their two non-conference home games at Children's Mercy Park in Kansas City, as ongoing renovations to David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium mean KU will play its home slate away from Lawrence this fall. Earlier this month, KU went out to Children's Mercy Park for a practice. The Jayhawks were able to get a feel for what it's like to play in the stadium and what a game day could be like.

The Kansas football season opener is just days away. The Jayhawks will kick off the 2024 season on Thursday night at Children's Mercy Park in Kansas City as FCS program Lindenwood comes to town.
