Tempers flared Wednesday when an 18-year-old Peoria man was sentenced to up to 20 years in prison for the fatal 2023 Davenport shooting of a Moline man. Man from Davenport, IA arrested after 3 vehicle accident in Boscobel
On Sunday around 9:00 pm, Grant County Dispatch received a 911 call of a three-vehicle crash south of the City of Boscobel. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded and identified 55-year-old Frank Klee of Davenport, IA as the driver of vehicle that had lost control and struck a guardrail. Frank’s vehicle came to rest in the lane of traffic, causing blockage. Two other vehicles collided attempting to avoid the blockage causing disabling damage to both vehicles. The drivers of those vehicles were 38-year-old Jordan Powers of Lancaster and a 31-year-old Grace Ideker, of Onalaska, WI. Only minor injuries were reported by the parties involved. Grant County Deputies investigated and arrested Klee for Operating while Intoxicated – 1st Offense. The passenger in Klee’s vehicle, 29-year-old Hailey Perez of Davenport, IA, was cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Boscobel Police Department, Boscobel Fire Department, Boscobel EMS, and Terry’s Tire and Tow assisted at the scene.

Rock Island-Milan School Board approves hire of Deputy Superintendent
ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (KWQC) - The Rock Island-Milan School Board voted on the hire of Jeffrey Dase for the position of Deputy Superintendent Tuesday evening. After a lengthy discussion, the school board voted in favor of Dase’s hire with five “yes” and two “no” votes. Dase will now serve in the newly created position as deputy superintendent for the Rock Island-Milan School District.
