Philly radio host banned from Citizens Bank Park after ‘unwanted advance’ toward employee
A Philadelphia sports talk legend has been banned from Citizens Bank Ballpark following an incident in May with a female Aramark Employee. Howard Eskin, a longtime broadcaster in Philadelphia and the father of former WFAN program director Spike Eskin, made unwanted advances toward the female employee at the Phillies home stadium which prompted an investigation and the decision to ban him from the ballpark, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Cellmate charged with murder in man’s death at Camp Hill prison
A 30-year-old incarcerated man was charged with murder in connection to the death of a 57-year-old man at SCI Camp Hill on Tuesday, Pennsylvania State Police announced. Kevin Beattie, 57, of Philadelphia, was found unresponsive in his cell and pronounced dead at 8:16 a.m., according to the Department of Corrections. A press release from state police said Beattie’s cellmate at the time of his death was Shaquille T. Gibson, 30, of York, who was charged with murder following an investigation.

But, one eyesore people in Callowhill say they’ve been dealing with for months in the form of an abandoned jet-ski, illegally dumped in a tow-away zone, right off the Vine Street Expressway. Teenage girl shot, injured after fight ends with gunfire in Montgomery County
A teenage girl was shot and injured after a fight broke out in Pottstown, Montgomery County.It happened at approximately 7:30 p.m. Tuesday on Myrtle Street in the Bright Hope Community.Officers say they responded to reports of a fight involving multiple teenage girls.According to police, shots were fired as a result of that dispute.When police arrived at the scene, officers found a 14-year-old girl suffering from a gunshot wound to her chest.She was treated at the scene and transported to a local trauma center. Sure, the Cubs strung together a couple of hits before a late-game, three-run Seiya Suzuki blast, but it was just a classic fake rally before an otherwise inevitable loss. Indeed, even including the ninth inning tonight, the Cubs went down 1-2-3 in order SIX times in nine innings. That is just some incredible sleep-walking-through-the-season nonsense. And it wasn’t like they were facing Zack Wheeler (he’s tomorrow …). They let a 25-year-old rookie making his first big league start hold them to 1 run on 2 hits over 5.0 innings at Wrigley Field. It’s just bad. The team doesn’t work.

Trea Turner homers twice as Phillies hang on to defeat Cubs
CHICAGO (AP) - Trea Turner hit two long home runs, and the major league-leading Philadelphia Phillies hung on to beat the struggling Chicago Cubs 6-4 on Tuesday night. The Phillies were rolling along with a 6-1 lead before the Cubs made things interesting in the ninth. José Ruiz came in and gave up singles to Michael Busch and Cody Bellinger before Seiya Suzuki smacked a three-run homer. Jeff Hoffman then struck out Ian Happ and Christopher Morel before retiring Dansby Swanson on a line drive to right for his seventh save.
