Scale modelers pass a good time sharing what they love
The Northshore Scale Modelers are an informal group of folks in the greater New Orleans area who meet to share, learn, teach and have fun in a relaxed setting the second Saturday of each month. All skill levels are welcome, from beginner to master modeler. And then, once a year, this group holds its annual expo and competition. This year, it took place on June 22 at the American Legion Hall in Covington, and some folks traveled a long way to attend. Expo categories included aircraft, automobiles, space/sci fi, figures and more. Special categories are also available for juniors up to 17 years old.
