An ANC 3F election update: Who’s in, who’s not, and the deadline to join the race
It’s not too late to run for the advisory neighborhood commission serving Van Ness, Forest Hills, and parts of North Cleveland Park and Chevy Chase. So far, ANC 3F incumbents Teri Huet (ANC 3F02), Mitch Baer (3F03), and Courtney Carlson (chair, 3F06) have told Forest Hills Connection they are running for another two-year term. Marilyn Slatnick (3F01) says she will not run. Adrian Iglesias (3F05) has not yet decided. Claudette David (ANC 3F04) has not responded.

Help these DC Little Leaguers continue their historic seasons
WASHINGTON — It's been a historic year for Capitol Hill Little League. All three teams (12U, 11U and 10U) won their respective divisions and are DC champs. Now, Capitol Hill Little League is trying to represent the District at the Little League World Series. The younger teams are heading to Massachusetts and Rhode Island to play in regional tournaments, while the 12U team goes to Bristol, Connecticut.
