Women’s basketball honored by WBCA for academics
ATLANTA (July 25) – The Saint Vincent College women’s basketball team was recognized by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) for academic performance for the 2023-24 year. The WBCA’s Academic Top 25 recognizes college basketball teams across the nation that carry the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. Saint Vincent, coached by Jimmy Petruska, achieved a 3.597 GPA for the 2023-24 academic year and listed as a special mention on the WBCA’s Division III Academic Top 25.
