Saint Joseph’s College of Maine announced an upcoming webinar series highlighting tools and resources for educator well-being. The announcement followed the conclusion of the school’s inaugural Summer Institute on Well-Being for Educators and School Personnel. Designed to engage educators and school administrators in active learning about well-being, the weeklong event featured expert-led discussions, including a demonstration around the use of therapy dogs in a classroom. Each conversation took a closer look at how to connect educators to self-care, professional growth, and other well-being opportunities.

Boothbay 36ers heading to American Legion tournament
The Boothbay 36ers are heading to the American Legion Baseball State Championship tournament. Two wins in the southern zone tournament action over Central Maine Hammond Lumber and Capital Area this weekend led to their finish as one of two southern zone teams qualifying for the state tournament. On July 22, Boothbay plays Skowhegan (8-6) at 5:30 p.m. in the southern zone championship game at Thomas College in Waterville. Both teams earned spots in next weekend’s state championship tournament.
