Adair County Producers Eligible for the Disaster Assistance Emergency Conservation Program

(Adair Co) Adair County was approved for the Emergency Conservation Program, also known as ECP.

Dawn Brown, Executive Director of the Adair County Farm Service Agency, said this program was implemented due to the tornado that occurred on May 21st.

The program will cover things like debris removal from fields, fence repair, restoring conservation structures, and grading, shaping or leveling land.

Dawn Brown said they also have a program to help the producers who lost livestock in Adair County due to the tornado and the Farm Service Agency has farm loans for producers who lost machine sheds or any loss of structure that stores commodities.
