City Winery may have locations all across the country, but they always strive to make each location as unique as possible. What is more memorable than sitting right on the Chicago River? City Winery is a perfect spot to sit outside on the water and enjoy a delicious glass of wine.

They do have a full menu serving lunch, dinner, and brunch on the weekends. City Winery exclusively serves their label on tap in their wine bars. They source their grapes from around the world but primarily focus on the California and Washington regions. The best part is the Riverwalk is dog-friendly so that you can enjoy a glass of wine with your pup!

Figo Wine Bar

Figo Wine Bar is exactly what comes to mind when you think of a wine bar. Their ambiance is spot on, and the interior design with exposed brick and rustic tables almost make you feel like you are in the Italian countryside. Their wine list features incredible Italian wines, and their cocktail list is also fantastic.

Figo serves up a delicious dinner menu and includes traditional Italian dishes such as arancini, bruschetta, and pasta. They also have a great selection of meats and cheeses for charcuterie. Wine and cheese and an impeccable dining room? What more do you need?

Ella Elli

Ella Elli is located on Southport in Lakeview and is much more than just your neighborhood wine bar. They do small plates here, so it’s a great place to meet friends for drinks and snacks after work. Ella Elli prides itself on offering a wide variety of food options, from grilled octopus to flatbreads to beef tartare.

Ella Elli has a great atmosphere with an impeccably decorated interior. They have lounge areas that look like the classiest living room you can imagine. The cocktail menu here is fabulous, and they feature local craft beers. The wine list has a great variety of whites, reds, and bubbles from around the world. There is something for everyone at this Southport Corridor gem.

Outside Voices

Outside Voices is an eclectic wine bar located in Logan Square. The interior is a unique design of ornate woodwork, and their outdoor patio space is super cute complete with fake grass and Adirondack lounge chairs.

Their wine menu has a unique rotating list of natural and low intervention wines worldwide. They have selections from Michigan to Lebanon and Slovenia. I enjoy seeing a list that branches out of California and Italian wines. They have a reasonably streamlined food menu featuring sandwiches, salads, and charcuterie. Outside Voices is a truly unique spot to raise a toast in Logan Square!

Webster’s Wine Bar

Webster’s Wine Bar has been a Logan Square staple since 1994. They seek out their wines from small family-owned vineyards around the world. They have an excellent menu complete with charcuterie, salads, and a delicious Croque monsieur. Their list of low intervention wines is so extensive it can be a bit overwhelming to decide on what to order!

Webster’s has a cozy vibe, and you will feel right at home in their dining room. If oysters are your thing, Webster’s has a daily selection served up on the half shell!
