Family encourages others one year after overdose death of loved one
SNYDER, Okla. (KSWO) - August 31 marks International Overdose Awareness Day. It also marks the day that Snyder resident Dawayne Morris lost his life to a Fentanyl overdose. After the loss, Morris’ sister Crystal Marroquin and mother Faye Dwyer began researching addiction, looking into support groups and ways they could help, using Dawayne’s story.

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KOKH) — A 28-year-old Oklahoma City woman was murdered by her boyfriend in Little Rock, Arkansas last week who has previously been convicted of murder. Lashabra Plunkett's family describes her as a devoted mother to her seven-year-old son, basketball star and animal lover. They're now trying to bring awareness to what happened to her, so it doesn't happen to others.
