ADDISON (KDAF) — One year after Goin’ Hollywood left audiences in awe during its premier at WaterTower Theatre in Addison, Texas, Producing Artistic Director Shane Peterman unveiled plans for the musical’s London debut. With investment rolling in for a run at Charing Cross Theatre, the buzz is building.

This musical, penned by Stephen Cole and music by David Krane, follows Alice Chandler, a writer who wishes herself and her partner, Garson Stein, back to 1949 Hollywood. They find themselves at MGM, mingling with the stars of the golden age.

The premiere last summer was a hit, reportedly selling over 90% capacity with several fans returning for more. For the London production, Peterman is teaming up with Katy Lipson of Aria Entertainment. They’re gearing up for an eight-week run at Charing Cross in late 2025 or early 2026, with dreams of a West End transfer and maybe even a leap across the pond to off-Broadway. Yes, Goin’ Hollywood could be goin’ places!
