Valdosta Therapy Business Expands with Assistance from the UGA SBDC
Erin Haskins opened Southern Therapy Solutions in February 2015 as a mobile speech therapy business. As her business grew, she needed sound business principles to grow her business successfully. She connected with Alyssa Foskey, area director at the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center (UGA SBDC) at Valdosta State University. Foskey guided Haskins in the opening of her 13,000 sq. ft. facility. The business now has 30 employees and is continuing to grow.
Body found at defunct car dealership in downtown Augusta
Augusta officials are investigating a suspicious death outside a defunct car dealership in downtown. Richmond County sheriff's Sgt. Walter McNeil said via a news release that deputies responded at 3:42 p.m. Tuesday to what was Johnson Cadillac at 1122 Walton Way, where they found the body of someone who had been dead for several days.

Valdosta Woman’s Grandson Involved in Her Death
VALDOSTA, LOWNDES COUNTY, Georgia – The Valdosta Police Department (VPD) have provided details of a Saturday, June 29th death.
