We promote educational, social, health, professional and economic issues in our area. We also encourage volunteerism through personal contributions and community service group activities. It is a great group for fellowship and friendship. We meet the second Friday of every month in the large meeting room at the Emporia Recreation Center at 11:45. All retirees (not just the ones from this year) are invited to attend. We have a meal, a program, and a short business meeting. Recent retirees will be receiving a personal letter of invitation soon.
