Surf-n-Turf Concert on 7/13

The Surf-n-Turf Concert is back again this year at the Monee Reservoir on Saturday, July 13 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM CT. Anyone can attend this concert with admission being free of charge. You can also BYOB, but it must be beer and wine only.

The music will begin at 5:30 at the Monee Reservoir amphitheater with Harmonica Jack. His harmonica playing will help you heal with nature.

From 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, the StingRays will perform at the amphitheater. The StingRays is a local band that covers rock and roll music from the '50's, the '60's and the '70's.

For the surf and turf, two food trucks will be on site.

To cover the surf part, The Bait Shop will be on hand serving fish and shrimp. The turf part will be covered by Slacker "T" Barbeque. They will be serving ribs, rib tips, hot links, and BBQ chicken. The sides will be macaroni and cheese, green beans with potatoes, and baked beans.

The Monee Reservoir is located at 27341 S. Ridgeland Avenue in Monee.
