IL Hot Sauce Expo on 4/20 & 4/21

High River Sauces will be hosting the 5th Annual Illinois Hot Sauce Expo on Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21 from 10 AM to 6 PM CT in downtown Joliet.

For all of the hot sauce enthusiasts, there will be 31 different hot sauce vendors on site for the weekend. General admission tickets to the expo on either day is $10 in advance and $15 at the door. You will receive free hot sauce tastings if you pay for general admission.

You can upgrade your ticket to the Craft Beer Package to $35 each day, and you will receive 3 craft beer tokens, an expo poster, and a bottle of High River Hot Sauce.

VIP tickets are $75 for Saturday and $50 for Sunday. Not only will you receive everything in the Craft Beer Package, you will receive a backstage VIP pass with an open bar along with a VIP Gift Bag.

On stage, you will be able to see various eating challenges and independent wrestling on both days. The main event challenge will happen on Sunday at 4 PM with the Guiness Book of World Records Reaper Eating Challenge sponsored by Puckerbutt Pepper Company. The Guinness World Record for eating reaper chilis in one minute is a little over 1/4 pound in one minute. Even if the record is not broken, the winner of this challenge will win $1,000.
