Hollywood Casino Job Fair on 7/27

The Hollywood Casino Aurora will be hosting a job fair on Saturday, July 27 from 9 AM to 4 PM CT at Waubonsee Community College. Guest speakers at the job fair will be Mayor Richard Irvin and Hollywood GM Greg Moore. Plenty of free parking will be available at the casino parking area located just north of the college.

The reason why this career fair is happening is that Hollywood is currently in the process of building a new casino on Farnsworth Avenue north of Interstate Highway 88. The new Hollywood Casino Aurora is scheduled to open up in late 2025 or early 2026.

Once the new casino opens, the current casino in downtown Aurora will close. However, the new casino will be so large that Hollywood will need to hire at least 350 new people in order to have enough workers to maintain the facility.

Before you go to this event on Saturday, you will have to pre-register at this link provided by Hollywood Casino Aurora. You will then be given a confirmation e-mail. If you do not show up with the confirmation e-mail, then you will not be allowed into the building.

The job openings at the casino are grouped into six categories.

- Casino operations assistant shift managers

- Table game dealers

- Culinary professionals

- Cage cashiers

- Security officers

- Facilities and maintenance personnel
