Ottawa Brew Fest - Drinkin' with Lincoln on 7/27 & 7/28

Are you ready to start drinking with Lincoln this weekend? The city of Ottawa is holding their first-ever Brew Fest this weekend. The Brew Fest will be held on Saturday, July 27 from 1 PM to 9 PM CT and on Sunday, July 28 from 12 PM to 5 PM at Washington Square Park.

You can no longer pre-order drink tickets, but the drink tickets will be sold at the park. Drink tickets are $25 for 20 drink tickets. Each drink will cost 2 drink tickets, so having ten drinks will have you saucy at the Brew Fest.

Here is a list of all of the breweries and wineries that will be represented at the inaugural Brew Fest.

- Tangled Roots Brewing Company - Ottawa, IL.

- Nik & Ivy Brewing Company - Lockport, IL.

- Church Street Brewing - Itasca, IL.

- Obscurity Brewing & Craft Mead - Elburn, IL.

- Scorched Earth Brewing Company - Algonquin, IL.

- Revolution Brewing - Chicago, IL.

- Two Brothers Brewing - Warrenville, IL.

- Kite Hill Vineyards - Carbondale, IL.

- Unpossible Mead - Dwight, IL.

- Star Union Spirits - Peru, IL.

- August Hill Winery - Utica, IL.

While you are getting liquored up at Brew Fest, you will need food in order to soak up some of that alcohol. Here is the list of food trucks that will be at Washington Square Park.

- Bertha's: Arepas, BBQ pulled pork & Southwest chicken sandwiches.

- Flo's: Build-your-own Mac & Cheese, Grilled Cheeses, Soups.

- Dig Doug's BBQ: BBQ (Great retro-gamer wordplay on the name).

- Serna's: Burgers, Gyros, Italian Beef, Monster Fries.

- Tony's Tacos: Tacos.

- Yim Curry: Chicken curry bowls, Veggie stir fry, Mango sticky rice.

- Chicago Maine Lobster: Lobster rolls, Clam Chowder, Lobster Bisque, Lobster Grilled Cheese, Lobster Tacos, Shrimp Tacos, Lobster Tail & Tots, Lobster Quesadilla. You saw them on 'Shark Tank.'

While you are eating and drinking, you will be able to listen to live music performances from regional acts Dan Hubbard, 80's Bush, The Beatelles, Rosie and the Rivets, Aaron Kelly, and the David Hilliker Trio.

Washington Square Park is located at 100 East Jackson Street in downtown Ottawa.
