Three Rivers Festival from 8/7 to 8/11

Channahon's Three Rivers Festival will take place from Wednesday, August 7 to Sunday, August 11 at Central Park. This festival is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year.

The festival begins on Wednesday with the Rotary Special Needs Day from 10 AM to 2 PM CT. The Rotary Special Needs Day will allow for families of special needs children to enjoy the festival without having them be overwhelmed by the large crowds.

Then, the festival will be opened up to the general public beginning on Wednesday and Thursday from 5 PM to 11 PM, on Friday from 5 PM to midnight, on Saturday from 11 AM to midnight, and on Sunday from 12 PM to 8 PM.

The carnival will be open on all five days. The cost for an unlimited rides wristband will be $30 on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday and $35 on Friday and Saturday.

Wednesday - DJ/Karaoke

Thursday - Hillbilly Rockstarz (Country/Rock & Roll)

Friday - Too Hype Crew (Old school Hip-Hop & R&B)

Saturday - Hairbangers Ball ('80's hair bands)

There will also be a family entertainment stage at the festival for all five days along with the Kidz Zone on the weekend. The Kidz Zone will have bounce houses, sand art, face painting, air brush tattoos, and a petting zoo.

The Three Rivers Festival Craft Fair will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Sunday will be packed with even more activities with a car show from 10 AM to 3 PM. Then, a parade throughout town will begin at noon. Here is a link with the parade route. After watching the parade, then you can wind down with the 4th Annual Wine Down Event from 2 PM to 5 PM.
