The Chicago Bulls (39-43) unfortunately ended up in the middle of the pack in the NBA Eastern Conference and losing in the play-in game once again last season. Injuries to key players took a big chunk out of what the Bulls could have been with Zach LaVine only playing 25 games, with Patrick Williams only playing half of the season, and with Lonzo Ball not playing at all.

However, the Bulls franchise is still optimistic about this season because LaVine appears to be ready to go for this upcoming season along with Lonzo Ball, who has missed the last two seasons. Also, Coby White made that next step that Bulls fans have been waiting for after averaging 19.1 ppg. Plus, the Bulls also had a first-round pick in this year's NBA Draft.

    Round 1, Pick 11: Matas Buzelis - F - G League Ignite. 6'10", 209 lbs (11.8 ppg, 5 rpg, 22% 3-PT FG%).

The Hinsdale native returns home to Chicago. It's good that he went to prep school and to the G-League because the high school in Hinsdale would have given him some issues. Buzelis is a real good finisher in the lane and can drive well to the basket from the wing and from the baseline. He had some really good dunks throughout the Summer League. He will see plenty of minutes off of the bench while he continues to develop his three-point shooting and continues to put on about 20 pounds of weight.

Overview: Buzelis will be a future All-Star if he puts in the effort to develop his jump shot. For this Draft, he is an absolute steal at 11. Grade: B+.
