More mayhem in Dolton this week

Yesterday, the Illinois Comptroller's Office revealed that the Village of Dolton has refused to do an independent audit over the past two years that would show how the taxpayer dollars within the village has been spent. They have "not received audits or financial reports from the Village of Dolton for fiscal years 2022 and 2023."

The reason why the audits have not been sent to the Office of the Comptroller is due to a major coverup that has been going on since 2021. The Village of Dolton just received an investigative report last week that showed that Mayor Tiffany Henyard has wasted $9.25 million in just three years.

That's only the half of it because there is even more mayhem going on this week in Dolton.

Last week, former Dolton Deputy Police Chief Lewis Lacey was fired by the Village Board due to the same investigative report. On Monday, he was indicted by a federal grand jury for bankruptcy fraud. The thin blue line became even thinner because he was reappointed yesterday by Mayor Henyard.

As you can see from both videos, even the news announcers are tired of reporting on the Village of Dolton over the past year. Nevertheless, the mayhem from Dolton must continue to be reported upon for the world to see.
