The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is holding a job fair on Tuesday, August 20 at the Springfield Worknet Center from 1:15 PM to 2:30 PM.

From 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM, representatives from IDOT will be giving military veterans priority preference before meeting with the general public.

During this career fair, representatives from IDOT will be talking about how to apply online for open positions along with the hiring process.

At this current time, IDOT is looking for radio operators, engineers, inspection technicians, and managers in the Springfield area.

The Springfield Worknet Center is located at 1300 S. 9th Street.
