DuPage County Veteran's Resource Fair on 8/21

DuPage County is holding their 6th Annual Veteran's Resource Fair on Wednesday, August 21 from 9 AM to 1 PM CT on the first floor of the Jack T. Knuepfer Building. This event is sponsored by Veterans Assistance Commission (VAC) of DuPage County with no charge to attend.

The goal of the resource fair is to provide informational material to military veterans and to the family members of military veterans within DuPage County. Representatives from over 70 agencies within the area will be providing information about various veteran programs and services.

Veterans will also be able to sign up for the Honor Rewards program where they will be able to receive military discounts from businesses within the area. A representative from the Illinois Secretary of State will be at the resource fair for veterans that are seeking to have the veteran designation placed upon their Driver's License or their State ID.

Free refreshments will be provided along with door prizes for all who attend this event tomorrow. Last year's tax levy in DuPage County was over $3 billion, so the refreshments better be top-notch.

The Jack T. Knuepfer Building is located at 421 N. County Farm Road in Wheaton.
