The Minnesota Timberwolves (56-26) had a breakthrough season that fans have been waiting for in a long time. The Timberwolves were able to go all the way to the Western Conference Finals for the first time in 20 years.

Although Minnesota did not make it to the NBA Finals, the team looks poised to make another championship run this upcoming season. Plus, the T-Wolves were able to secure two first-round picks in this year's NBA Draft.

    Round 1, Pick 8: Rob Dillingham - PG - Kentucky. 6'2", 170 lbs (15.2 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 3.9 apg, 44.4% 3-PT FG%).

Dillingham was absolutely electric off of the bench for Kentucky last season because of his instant offense, his quickness, and his intensity. He will bring a spark off of the bench for the Timberwolves as well at point guard.

    Round 1, Pick 27: Terrence Shannon, Jr. - SG - Illinois. 6'6", 210 lbs (23 ppg, 4 rpg, 2.3 apg, 36.2% 3-PT FG%).

Shannon made a big step last season to become one of the best scorers in the NCAA. He should have went way higher in this draft, but he was falsely accused of some charges during last season.

Overview: The biggest issue with the T-Wolves last season was perimeter depth, which is why they lost in the Western Conference Final. That issue has been solved with Dillingham and Shannon.

    Grade: A+.
