The New York Knicks (50-32) had one of the most emotional playoff runs last season. The Knicks were able to get to the Eastern Conference Semifinals, but lost to the Indiana Pacers due to an excessive amount of injuries.

Now, all of the injured players will be back. Plus, New York brought the Villanova quartet together once again when the Knicks traded for Mikale Bridges.

The Knicks will be able to contend for the NBA Championship this upcoming season due to having some depth on the roster in order to withstand the notorious amount of minutes New York coach Tom Thibodeau will have them play each and every game.

The Knicks are going for it now, but they are looking towards the future as well with four draft picks in this year's NBA Draft.

    Round 1, Pick 25: Pacome Dadiet - SG - Ratiopharm Ulm. 6'7", 217 lbs (6.8 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 39.1% 3-PT FG%).

Dadiet was able to be drafted in the first round based upon his length at shooting guard and his accuracy as a long-range shooter. He will have to improve at the defensive end before he sees any minutes.

    Round 2, Pick 4: Tyler Kolek - PG - Marquette. 6'1", 197 lbs (15.3 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 7.7 apg, 1.5 spg, 38.8% 3-PT FG%).

Kolek was one of the best players in the Big East over the past two seasons. He is really good at controlling the tempo of a game along with dropping assists on a consistent basis. He solely dropped into the second round because of his height. He may not see any time at point guard with the Knicks having Jalen Brunson at the helm.

    Round 2, Pick 26: Kevin McCullar, Jr. - SG - Kansas. 6'5", 206 lbs (18.3 ppg, 6 rpg, 4.1 apg, 33.3% 3-PT FG%).

McCullar had a solid season with the Jayhawks, but he dropped in this draft due to missing games in four out of his five college seasons due to injuries. McCullar signed a two-way contract so he will start the season in the G League.

    Round 2, Pick 28: Ariel Hukporti - C - Melbourne United (NBL). 7'0", 246 lbs (8.4 ppg, 7 rpg, 1.5 bpg).

Hukporti rebounds well and really crashes the boards in pick-and-roll sets. He more than likely will not see any time either.

Overview: The New York Knicks were able to potentially four players that could help them down the road because Coach Thibodeau will not play rookies at all.

    Grade: Incomplete.
