One of the best moments of the Democratic National Convention was when Minnesota Governor Tim Walz accepted the nomination of becoming the Vice Presidential candidate. During his speech, his son Gus Walz stood up in the crowd with emotion saying, "That's my Dad! That's my Dad!" The moment became even more poignant learning that Gus Walz is neurodivergent.

However, that did not stop Amundsen High School girls volleyball coach Amy Jacobson from punching down. Jacobson and Dan Proft host a morning radio show called Chicago's Morning Answer. During the show, Proft stated that Gus Walz needed a bunch of Ritalin.

They both apologized, but they both lost their jobs. Jacobson resigned from her position as the girls volleyball coach. To make matters even worse, Proft lost his position at Envision Unlimited. Envision Unlimited is an organization that actively seeks out to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
