Illinois Valley Food Pantry Distribution on 8/30

The Illinois Valley Food Pantry will be distributing food at their location on Friday, August 30 from 9 AM to 12 PM CT. If you are looking to grab some extra food before Labor Day, then you should head over to the Illinois Valley Food Pantry tomorrow.

The Illinois Valley Food Pantry serves those who live in these 12 towns: La Salle, Utica, Lowell, Wenona, Peru, Cedar Point, Lostant, Jonesville, Oglesby, Tonica, Leonore, and Earlville.

If you are a first-timer, then you will have to provide proof of residency like any mail received within 60 days, a photo ID, names and DOB's of every person living at the residence, and proof that the monthly income is below the federal poverty guidelines.

If you have already registered, then you will just have to show a photo ID.

The Illinois Valley Food Pantry is located at 122 Wright Street in La Salle. It will be three blocks west of Joliet Street (Illinois 351).
