Dinosaur Meet and Greet on 9/14

The Orland Square Mall will have a visitor this weekend when Dax the Dinosaur will do a meet and greet with mall patrons in the Center Court on the first floor on Saturday, September 14 from 1 PM to 2:30 PM.

Bring your children to take a picture of a guy dressed up in a T-Rex costume. You may want to take a picture with Dax the Dinosaur as well.

Plan to get there early because the place will be packed. It will be so packed that Dax the Dinosaur will be taking a planned break from 1:45 PM to 2 PM. Dax the Dinosaur must have it good if he will have a 15-minute break after only working 45 minutes.

The allure of dinosaurs can be traced back to how many people wonder how these gigantic creatures immediately disappeared from the face of the earth many years ago. Billions of people have seen at least one of the movies from the Jurassic Park series.

What is even more intriguing is that dinosaur DNA was found by paleontologists a few years ago. That means that scientists will possibly look to recreate these monsters in real life in the future.

Orland Square Mall is located at 288 Orland Square off of LaGrange Road (US Route 45).
